I really love this sweater and I am tempted to make one for myself at some point. It was a fast knit, and I got it done in under 3 weeks - and I was able to work on other projects while this one was on the needles. One Christmas sweater down!
Oct 18: I sewed in the ends and it’s now being blocked! Used this tutorial for tubular cast off around the neck - really liked the look of this and will be using tubular cast on and cast off for next marius i make.
Oct 17: finished colorwork and stopped right before ribbing . It looks great so far! The pattern was simple and easy to follow although I am worried about the sizing
Oct 16: finished the second round of yoke decreases. Colorwork is going well, I’m happy I practiced on my favourite things scarf before tackling this sweater. I’m really tempted to make a similar one for me, it’s an easy pattern and I like the colorwork.
Oct 7: finished sleeves and attached them to body. I’m ready to do colorwork, but I’m going to be putting this aside for now so I can cast on other sweaters. So far the pattern is quite easy.
Oct 4: finished incs, worked body to 37 cms, did cast off for underarms (3 balls of yarn). Cast on 50 sts for sleeves on 3.5mm needles - decided to work flat and do them two at a time.
Oct 3: finished decreases and two rows away from starting the incs. At 19 cms with 2 balls of yarn.
Oct2: at 10 cm, so starting dec as indicated in pattern. started 2nd ball of yarn.
Oct 1: CO 220 sts, and will be doing 1x1 ribbing for 10 rnds. Using larger needles as others have.
