The only tricky part with this pattern is getting the thumbs and feet pointed in the correction directions. So beware you may have to frog an arm or leg and reverse the pattern for that feature. I always consider the first one I crochet a practice one. You know one Santa isn’t enough.

It seems by following the pattern it splits the legs really far apart. I would like to revise the pattern to have the legs a little closer together.

It’s a cute Santa! I didn’t crochet a backing to make a potholder out of it. I’m using it to hang over my fireplace.
