I’m using Sugar n’Cream cotton yarn from my stash that is similar to the colors the designer used. This is my first African Flower! The pattern is super easy to follow.

For the tie I chained three different colors and braided them together and tied off the ends and weaved it through the purse top.

I’m working on the strap now. I made a shorter strap with four rows of single crochet in four different colors. I attached the strap with two buttons over and through each of the opposite side openings under the top band (refer to blue arrow on photo).
