The yarn. Extremely soft, brushed merino resulted on a felted worn looking fabric. No complaints here, the kid loves it.

The pattern. Simple and well written. Very easy to knit. I couldn’t achieve the gauge measurements in my swatch with this yarn, even using the smallest needles, so I had to decrease the number of stitches all around. I used kitchener stitch on the hood, much better finish.

The sweater. WOW: flattering and comfortable. The picture in the original pattern doesn’t do it justice. Very sexy! Ladies, your man will wear this one. My kid here doesn’t want to take it off.

Oh, and I’m a lefty so the design is swapped, but my kid is a lefty too so he doesn’t mind.
