1/10 Soft, warm, stylish, original…flowless!
29/9,30/9 She´s blocking! Mine Bandit is slightly larger than pattern. I like it very much!
28/9 Finished! Need to block and weave in ends. Although it didn´t seem to me when knitting, the second skein is of slightly different shade (bit darker). However it looks still nice outlining the differences between the body and the edge chart.
20/9 Edge Chart, row 11. I started the second skein of Malabrigo at the 3rd row of the Edge Chart. (Joining the balls by felting - well, it´s not my best job, but still I like it.)
I love the pattern, it´s clever, very funny, easily memroable and easy to knit. Thank you, Kate for writing this!
17/9 Working on the third repeat of the Body Chart. Enjoying everything: the geniosity of the pattern, the unbelievably soft yarn, the gentle colour transitions…pleasure, relax, love. :-)
14/9 Oh my God! I´m totally in love with Malabrigo! :-) It´s soooosoft… The pattern is also great. I´m really glad that I encouraged myself to start this project after eyeing it for several months.
First time:
- provisional cast on; and I can say that now I do understand the advantage of it. It makes really neat edge, without any end to wave in on the RS. I was scared at the beginning, though.
- reading a chart; obviously I´m a visual knitter, because I like following the chart and I find it very helpful and useful. Without the chart I would definitely loose my concentration and track after a few rows.
