I bought this yarn for the Downton Abbey Knit along, but I didn’t really like the direction it was going in. The top part of this is similar because of the stripes. the last time, they blended in so much, it wasn’t worth the extra work. But with this one, the contrast yarn is knit on the wrong side so that it pops on the right side. good idea.

April 17- I even stated that I would throw the whole thing in the garbage if I had to tink back one more time because of counting wrong in the cable section. I didn’t. I haven’t knitted this many cables in a LONG time, I’m a little rusty.

After the endless border, I am finally finished. It is okay. I’ll see how it looks after it is blocked. I’m not loving the cables. Maybe would look better with a heavier yarn. The yarn I used has a slight variegation, maybe that is why they don’t look defined.
