I got bitten by the Universal Yarn bug recently and wanted to try out some of their yarns, including Donnina and the new Minou.

MDKs Diagonal Mitts were a perfect, quick and easy knitting project to get to know the yarns.

While Minou is of course frilly, it has a good core to see where you’re knitting. Using lace knitting needles (sharp tip) definitely help with the effort.

Donnina … just beautiful. Fun to work with, and the resulting fabric is soft and has a little sheen to it. Lovely!

It was hard to just stop, so the mitts turned out a bit too big. However … SUPER COMFY!!!
