When I was working on the “Sheep” baby blanket, the idea came up to “take out the sheep” and turn it into a stuffed animal. And because I had seen that somebody had made the original quilt with a pig instead of the sheep, I made a pig also.

A note regarding the yarns: The Berroco Plush yarn requires more patience to work with, but it creates the best “sheep fleece” that I can imagine. You can use any worsted weight yarns in the amounts listed above to make your sheep and pig.
