I’ve been curious for a while about Hedgehog Fibres Sock Minis … what better excuse than to get one and weave it up for the patchwork project!

One sock mini yields 10 hexagons on the fine-sett, creating a light fabric with beautiful drape. Fun to weave, and the colors are stunning.

The center of the flower is Amano Awa on the fine-sett … from my Alma cardigan in progress!

My daughter wove me a Valentine’s Day hexagon, using the new Berroco Gingham.

The finishing touch!

The beauty of this project is that you can just declare it to be done, and so it is.

I crocheted one round and embroidered the year onto the first hexagon … done!

What is it? … It’s a “thing”!
