Modifications:
Knit in fingering weight on size 6 needles.

Increased at outside edge every row, inside spine every other row for a wider, more shallow shawl. The outside edge increases were M1 increases instead of YO.

At ribbing, changed from YO increase to M1 increase, and worked the center stitch in stockinette to make a 1 stitch column in the center.

In the ribbing, I used M1 and M1P for better continuity in the ribbing.

I knit the ribbing the way it is shown in the pattern photos, not the was the pattern directs you to. It’s pretty obvious that the longer ribbing on the edging is actually k1, p1, k2, p2 repeat not k2, p2 repeat. You could get a very similar look from K3, p1 or K3, p2, but I didn’t care as much for k2, p2 rib the pattern told me to knit.
