buttonholes: knit 2, yo, k2tog, knit 6, yo, k2tog, knit 6, yo, k2tog, knit to end, on row 7. knit 3 more rows, bind off.

Modifications:
No garter stitch at yoke
2 row stripes on yoke only
Short sleeves
No collar, just the applied i-cord edging
Wider buttons bands with buttonholes instead of button loops.
Applied i-cord along button bands, neckband, sleeve edges. If I’d thought ahead, I’d have done it on the bottom hem also.
More rows in the garter band at the hem.
