This is my first serious attempt at stranded knitting since I tried and failed at it about 40 years ago! It’s a bit lumpy, and my sheep are a bit more 3-dimensional that they should be, but I’m pretty pleased. I’ve managed not to pull my floats too tight and my tension is definitely more even at the top of the hat. I suspect that the long runs of cream in the sheep serve to to show up the flaws in the tension more. Maybe I should do black sheep!

I’m interested to see how much blocking will help. I’m not expecting miracles!
