Notes

After fiddling with the small, individual squares and having so much trouble working out how to join them neatly, decided to knit eight strips equal to five joined squares before joining them.

Worked out a template to coordinate the colours, with the Desert Mix as main colour (20 blocks) with Claret, Fawn, Apricot and Cream (5 blocks each).

Finished joining strips today, and have lightly pressed with a damp cloth. Looks better than I expected ! Now for the edging …

Edged with rows of double crochet in Laguna, finished with one row double crochet Desert Mix using 3.5mm hook.
