I spun this yarn from a combination of fibers - 1 ply is a handprinted tussah silk in dark blue, maroon, green, and gold. I blended it with a metallic Firestar fibre in similar colors. The 2nd ply is a merino tencel blend in light blue. The idea had been to emphasis the blue colors, but the finished yarn was even darker than I expected and not as blue. The finished cowl is even more so. It’s also a bit itchy.

There was about enough yarn for a cowl, and I had a very small amount of yarn left over. I used a modified feather and fan with bands of plain stockinette in between.
