Notes

This was a great pattern and pretty quickly knit when I was able to actually work on it. It was well written and easy to understand. I’ve never made a sideways knit shawl and I can’t say that it’s my favorite. I probably wouldn’t knit this again for strictly that reason. I do like the asymmetry of this shawl very much.

The yarn was gifted to me by my VERY generous friend Kerry (thanks so much Kerry) for my birthday. It’s very soft and the colors are beautiful! The only negative is that the yarn base is over-plied and it’s a little weird feeling to knit with. This is only a slight negative and wouldn’t prevent me from using the yarn again.

I made no modifications to the pattern. I used all but a few inches of the yarn which made the pattern a perfect fit. The shawl is not very large and will work great for me as a large scarf.
