Notes

These socks are too cute for words! They are VERY quick! They would have been finished in one evening if it weren’t for my big man hands. It’s a cuff-down sock with a classic heel flap and picked up gusset stitches. I used a slightly larger needle to obtain gauge and hardly used any yarn. It was, indeed, left over from socks that I knit my niece and I could probably get at least one more pair done from the remaining yardage. These are for my cousin, Sandi’s, first baby due in July of 2012. She teaches at the high school in my hometown where all of my family attended and the school colors are black and gold. The mascot is the panther - hence the project name. Would DEFINITELY knit these again! No modifications were made to the pattern.
