  • Used a German twisted cast-on (love it!)
  • Picked up an extra stitch (total 17sts) on each side of the heel flap - it totally eliminates the little hole that sometimes appears
  • I followed the directions for the fingering weight version using a sport weight yarn - they fit perfectly for my husband who has kind of wide feet & shins.
