Every year I make myself a birthday scarf. This is my 30th birthday scarf and I’m thrilled with both the simple lace pattern and the soft yarn.

This scarf was about a foot shorter before I blocked so I’m really glad I took the time. Draping is just magic for lace knitting.

Important to note: I reduced the number of zig zag repeats in this pattern when I realized that I was not going to have enough yarn for a longer scarf if I made it any wider. I think four pattern repeats was just enough.
