I can’t say enough good things about this baby sweater. It’s definitely my favorite baby item ever! The combination of Vintage and Nirvana was a stroke of genius. While the Nirvana is a bit spendy, you only need 1 skein of it for this sweater, and it knits up just fabulously! I’ll be buying more for sure.

As for the sweater pattern, Gina’s instructions are clear and concise. I whipped the whole sweater up in just one afternoon due to the gigantic needles! This is now my go-to baby gift.

I modified the sweater to add long sleeves, ending them with about 2 inches of garter stitch so mum can roll the sleeves up if needed!

I love all of this together; the shoes, headband and screenprinted onesie are all from Etsy; can’t remember where the pants are from, but they were meant for a boy. I sewed the buttons on the leg. :)
