Notes

01.05.2011: I’ve been knitting this in the round and split for the armholes. Right now I’m on the back, just finished the armhole shaping and half way to shoulder shaping.

01.07.2011: My correction for the shoulder shaping (for back and front):

When armhole measures 7” inches, BO 9 sts at armhole edge (RS row), work WS even, BO 10 sts at armhole edge, work WS even, BO remaining sts.

I’ll let you know how it works out, so hang tight until I seam the shoulders. I’m pretty sure the fit will be just fine.

01.12.2011: Oh yeah, about those shoulders. It worked out perfectly, the fit is great. As you can see in the pictures, it’s not as baggy as the original pullover. I used US 8s throughout to get a more fitting sweater. I love the feel and the look. In future, I may even knit another one in the specified gauge for that loose fit around the house. Super comfy.
