Notes

So…I screwed this one up, but it turned out okay anyway! I’m not an avid crocheter, so I had my trusty-dusty stitch glossary open next to me. I worked through row nine before I realized…the crochet chapter of my stitch glossary is (for whatever reason) in English terms, and my pattern is in American terms. Thus when the pattern said double crochet, I was actually doing a single crochet! So…the hat is about infant/preemie sized (small grapefruit) rather than normal grownup sized like it’s supposed to be. It’s still pretty, and it would be even prettier in a thinner yarn, so I might remember this mistake for later! For now, the hat will sit in my basket waiting for someone I know to get pregnant lol.

Side note: I just realized…the title I picked for the project sounds like I made it for an accidental baby!!
