Test for this beautiful cardigan.

Very beautiful and versatile design and very well written pattern. I absolutely love it. Simple cardigan that gets very special with the addition of the scarf. And you have a million options to wear it….therefore so many photos, sorry. :)

The yarn has an amazing colour, it´s quite hard to get it with the camera, as it sometimes looks completely purple and sometimes it´s just grey.

My scarf is slightly darker and more purple than the cardigan, as I had two different dyelots.

Yardage:

Cardigan = 4 skeins
Scarf = 2 skeins

Notes and Mods:

Cardigan:

Body:

• long-tail cast-on, I somehow couldn´t manage to do a good looking cable-cast-on
• used german short-rows
• followed the numbers for XS, but cast-on two more underarm stitches for the body than the pattern says.
• two decreasing rounds, but four increasing rounds to get my size for the hip
• added a bit more lenght before starting the pockets.

Sleeves:

• picked up two more underarm stitches additionally to the four previously cast-on.
• started decreasing after 20 rows
• did seven decreasing rounds in total
• added some length

Scarf:

• started the button holes after the first chart repeat, not by purpose, I just missed the line where it says: work the chart 3 times

• did 15 repeats in total
