While I’m working this flat, I’m work the purls Eastern (or whatever you call it when you wrap the yarn in the opposite direction) so that I can hopefully avoid rowing out and get a gauge closer to what I get in the round. So far, so good!

Mods

I’m working sleeve increases along with body increases (so, continuing section with all increases rather than going to body-only increase section).

When I separate sleeves from body, I’m going to cast on an extra 4 sts on each side (20 instead of 16). When I start working sleeves, I’ll pick up 2 extra sts on either side of underarm, and NOT DECREASE THOSE. I’ll then work 2 increase rows immediately to allow for a little extra room in the sleeves. This will necessitate additional decrease rounds. After working plain for 4 rounds total (1/2 inch), I’ll work decrease rounds every other RS round 11 times, and then every RS round until I have 68 sts.
