This yarn, in this colour, is spectacular. I read in Trish’s e-newsletter that she’d have a cowl on display in her booth at Circle Craft this weekend and once I saw it in person, I had no choice but to buy a skein and make my own.

The moment I got home, I whipped out the swift and ball-winder and got to work!

Finished and blocking. I cast off using Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-off for a nice finish. Oy, I’m going to have a hard time giving this away. Love, love, LOVE this yarn!

Thanks to kelli1978 for reminding me to include the following notes: I ran out of yarn binding off, so had to pick back and skip the last two rows of the lace chart. But you’d never know - the fabric is still beautiful. I’d suggest working a lifeline halfway through the final repeat of rows 1-14, just in case you run out. Also, if you’re a tight knitter, use a smaller needle or work a regular bind-off (Jeny’s uses more yarn than a regular bind-off), this may not be a factor for you.
