Notes

I had in mind a series of little handbags and totes as ornaments, but got a little sidetracked from my initial plan when I had too many projects I was working on concurrently. I managed to finish this one, however, and really want to make more, because they’re a lot of fun! (Don’t think it didn’t make me want a full size tote bag that looks just like this one).

This one was super easy. I cast on 48 stitches and distributed them among 4 DPNs - I knit one round in a coordinating color and then switched colors every 7 rounds. I used the Kitchener stitch to graft the base of the bag and then knit 2 i-cords with lightly felted and flattened ends that I sewed on the inside of the bag.
