I cast on 120 sts using a slip-knot cast-on. I’m alternating knit and purl rows rather than doing the wrap-and-turn method in the pattern. This gives a more subtle seam.

After the cowl, I switched to smaller needles, decreased to 116 sts, and did 6 rounds in garter st before switching from Quoth (purple coordinate) to the larger Evolution. I did 18 more rounds in garter st and placed markers for the yoke as follows: k21, pm, k16, pm, k42, pm, k16, pm, k to end of round.

I knit for three inches in garter stitch before beginning the waist decreases.

After I finished the evo, I knit 10 rows in Nevermore (black coordinate) before binding off the body.

I wound off part of each cupcake before beginning the sleeves. 35.35g at the beginning of the first sleeve.

I picked up all four of the stitches added after the sleeve divide and decreased to two immediately--k2tog, k to last two sts, ssk.

I did 26 rounds in garter stitch before beginning arm decreases. I ran out of the evo after 13.5” of the sleeves.

I had 42.57g of Nevermore before attaching to sleeves.

The first sleeve is about 17-18 inches.
