This, my third version of this pattern, is on the needles to welcome my best friend’s newest addition. You’d think after 4 there just wouldn’t be a lot of need for the hoopla and fanfare, right? WRONG. Sweet Caroline needs a pretty purple sweater (Big Sister Natalie’s favorite color) to welcome her to the world! Like a true knitter, i was scrambling to finish weaving in the ends and take a couple of quick photos on the way to meet Miss Caroline finally! She’s the first of my bestie’s babies I didn’t visit in the hospital so there just wasn’t any way I could NOT give her her little sweater on our first meeting, right?
