As a long time dedicated sock knitter, I never would have expected such a simple pair to cause so much consternation but these surprised me at every turn. I cast on the first sock and got through half of it in one night back in September. And took until well into October to finish it! The second sock may have gone the slightest bit faster but it still took me more than two full months to finish them! It turns out I didn’t enjoy knitting the yarn which did not help, but now that they are finished I can mark another item off my Christmas Knitting list as these are a gift for my Father in Law.
