I love the combination of knitting and crochet in one project. Adding the crochet trim is not difficult but requires exact setting of the stitches to make both parts of the front matching to each other. I’ve really counted every stitch.
I had to change the length of the cardigan (65 cm), because I’m longer than average, therefore I didn’t knit the crochet trim in one piece as given in the pattern description, but I split it up into Hem trim and front trims. For the front trims I made 5 and a half pattern repeats.
