I wanted to knit an easy to wear sweater dress for my daughter from panama. My plan was to start with a sweater pattern and simply make it longer for a sweater dress
So I found the gorgeous Marie Wallin design Eloisa. Basis is a simple sweater but with rich crochet flower application.
Finally I’ve knitted the dress with set in sleeves for a more stable construction and I started with the crochet flowers
They are beautiful and I had more yarn. So I decided to crochet more and attach them as a center panel on the front of the dress.
