This has been put on the back burner over Christmas as I’m making lots of presents for people. I’ll get back to it in the new year while I’m looking for some other projects!

I picked this up again over the holidays and it actually is pretty quick to crochet up once you get a good run at it and know the pattern. I’m about half way through and really looking forward to finishing it. Can’t wait to see it blocked…I think it will be fab!

Just finished the main body of this (the 4 line pattern repeat), am glad to have that finished as I was starting to get a little bored of it. It is actually a good pattern to work on because it keeps your interested without being difficult but after 20 x 4 line repeats it starts to get tiresome. Just have about 14 lines to go now before doing the edging! Cant wait to finish it……

Finished!! Need to weave in a few ends and block.
This yarn was very irritating. The 3rd ball had at least three regions where the yarn wasn’t spun correctly and ended up being thick and fluffy. I had to cut these out and join the yarn back together which means that I have knots and ends to weave in.
The pattern for row 131 confused me (it was also late so wasnt paying much attention) so ended up ripping back a few rows, it should read sc together EVERY 11th and 12th stitch.

I can’t believe I ‘finished’ this in January. I still haven’t woven in the ends or blocked it! Terrible terrible me! Maybe this weekend!

Finally got around to blocking! Its still wet but I’m really happy with how it turned out.
