This is the third time I’ve made this cardy. It’s so cute and works up pretty quickly. This was made for my friends new baby son.
This was the first time I used cotton (I wanted a neutral colour and had loads of cream Creative Cotton Aran left from my chevron blanket) to make this cardigan. While knitting I was a little doubtful that it would turn out well, I didn’t really like the look or drape of the cotton. Once all the ends were woven in and the cardy was washed and blocked and then buttons were sewn on, it looked great.
It was well received.
