Have been working away on this, in between other projects. It’s a great project for waiting rooms etc. Each circle takes about 20 mins so it is handy when you only have a small amount of time to knit/crochet. So far I have gotten through 2 full balls of blue and 2 full balls of orange, 8 cirlces per ball. I have edged them (squared them) with a grey and am loving how they are looking.
I plan to block all the squares before joining - but will probably be another few weeks as I am working on a number of other things too, and they baby isn’t due for another 16 weeks - so I have plenty of time!

Finished all the squares about a week ago. Have blocked about 14 but have to do them in batches as I dont have enough T-pins - each square takes 12 pins! I am spray blocking them so they dry pretty quickly. I am hoping to get the blocking finished in the next week or so. I might start to join the blocked squares as others are blocking. Still haven’t really decided what kind of join I am going to do!

I have been pretty slow with this…picking up a few squares here and there to weave in ends. Blocking in batches and some batches end up on the mat for over a week! I feel like I’m getting there though, have 8 squares blocking…and only 2 left after that. Have most of the other squares sewn together so hoping to get it done before the week is out!

Picked this back up for the first time in a month. All squares blocked, ends woven in and sewn together. Two rounds of edging done so nearly there. Not sure about how the edging is going to turn out as I think I ended up with too many stitches…hopefully it’s nothing a bit more blocking can’t sort out!.

Finished…did an extra round of the edging and then finished it off with a round of single crochet. Got to weave in ends and block now (with about 5 other things!)
