the gauge should be off by just looking at the yarn so I’m going to try taking off 6st and seeing where that gets us. (6st because the leg rib is a 1x2 rib)

I’ll probably be using Judy’s Magic Cast on too… I really love that one. So 9st on the top and bottom needles. And then working up to 54st total. so 9 increases of 4st each time. 18 rows total.

12.19.2010 cast on today between church services… that’s as far as I’ve gotten :lol:

12.22.2010 so after having to do some major research on the pattern (specifically the chart -- I’m using the english version) I found out that I’m only supposed to knit rows 2-8 of the chart for the repeats. I’m actually doing 1-8 though because I’m cutting out one repeat in the foot due to guage and I think the extra row will make it just right. Seemingt to be getting one repeat done an night so in two nights I’ll be on the gusset… which may be adjusted as well… hopefully not though :)

12.25.2010 even though the sole measurements were correct after the cable repeats, the gusset was not long enough so now I’m ripping back to the cables and making one more repeat and then restarting the gusset… oh well.

12.30.2010 after a brief interlude I’ve picked them back up and the last of the cables on the foot are getting finised tonight and then back to the gusset

1.03.2011 almost done with the gusset. This goes much slower when I don’t have the parents watching the kids :lol:

1.04.2011 gusset is finished and I’ll be turning the heel tonight along with starting on the heel flap… hopefully :)

1.10.2011 wip pic (on my hand) working on repeat 3 of 5 up the leg. Midnight update: switched to 3mm.

1.11.2011 on cuff. Will hopefully finish tomorrow :D

1.12.2011 cuff is finished. I’m binding off and blocking tomorrow!

1.13.2011 used Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off and loooove it! Wove in ends and now I’m waiting on the go/no go for blocking :D
