Notes

08.18.2011 working on toes and the first heart is almost done. yay Sing-Off… go pentatonix!

09.03.11 heels are both turned… no gusset, just short rows. Onto the leg :)

12.06.11 so after 5 more pattern repeats I ribbed and cast-off.

Loved the pattern though I didn’t follow the gusset and turned heel parts but the heart pattern was easy to memorize and so the whole project was highly portable.

Loved the yarn, so smooth and beautiful. The colors are vibrant and the yarn is squishy and has great stitch definition.

But I definitely wouldn’t have chosen to use this yarn with this pattern (not that both weren’t fatastic… because they were) but Baby Bear loved the colors and she wanted something lacy… so here you have it, a highly variegated, somewhat lacy sock, perfect for my little girl and big enough to almost fit me :( She’s getting way too big.

If I had it my way the yarn would have been turned into layburns or skews and I would have used a solid or semisolid for the hearts.
