As long as you go slow and follow the instructions meticulously the square comes out perfect, but I did mess up on the front post frenzie I put the fpdc and fptr one stitch over which gave a pinwheel look. That is what I call a happy little mistake :) so I kept it. I loved making this square it is absolutely beautiful and a joy to crochet.
