I don’t believe a pattern for socks should be determined by a number size. For Women and Men, size should be determined by width.
This is my madness behind my sizing.

Intermediate pattern.

You will need a circular needle for the cast-on, and if you would like to knit using Magic Loop.

Skills needed:
Magic cast-on
Cable
Short Rows

these have been sitting in the treasure chest for…ummm..2 years! YIKES!

I am casting on the second twin sock for the Blue Day Sock KAL tonight.

As usual, I’m going to try something different, and do a Tubular cast on, just like in Double Knitting.

The Tubular Cast On didn’t work! Way too Loose!

Last night I did finally finish the Toe!

I also realized that I originally did the toe a wee bit different than how the pattern is written. So now I have matching socks. ☺
