Notes

At some point, it appears the name of the pattern was changed. Maybe the Star Wars Sand People (Tusken Raiders) complained!

CHART 3, ROW 9: K3.ssk.yo.k2tog.yo.k2tog.yo.k1.
otherwise ya got too many stitches, dude- and this keeps the pattern lined up.
CHART 3, ROW 13: k5.ssk.yo.k2tog.yo.k1.
ditto.
And the written section was incorrect, too. As written/charted, there are too many increases for the number of decreases (11 sts result instead of 10).

I finished the shoulders with a 3-needle bind off to give them more structure, bound off the neckline with just a “regular” knitted bind off.

Three different dyelots of the yarn and they do show it, but it’s ok. I may end up dyeing it later anyway.
Use the 32” Magic Needles. : )

I’m making the largest size because I don’t want it as a tee shirt shirt, I want it for a pop over piece, like the Des Chain

8-10-2018: I didn’t mean to, but I cast on and did a couple of rows this morning. I had to change from the ebony needles to a Lykke set.
8-17: did a lot of knitting on this yesterday. Pattern is easy to memorize so don’t be intimidated by the lace and the number of charts.
8-28: picked this back up after at least a week, no problem figuring out where I left off. required sewing is cutting into my knitting time ;)
9-5: finished the front-- wow, it’s looooong - and that’s ok.

3-29-2019: back on needles, casting on the back.
3-30: took me a bit of thinking (burned out another brain cell) to remember how the charts work, but I’m rolling now…

4-18-2019: finished except for the sewing up of the side seams (I want side seams instead of ties). Trying to decide if I want to mattress stitch or something else).

Mattress Stitched up the sides, blocked, clipped ends and FINISHED.
