I have two skeins (880 yards) so going to make the medium size.

After finishing 120 rows of lace strip, have determined its big enough - so doing small rather than medium. Should have figured this - my gauge is always bigger than hers - she crochets tight, I crochet loose. But I like how this is working with the recommended hook size.

I also broke off after doing the single crochet along the lace strip and reattached at the marker. I just didn’t like having the extra single crochet row on just one side of the body.

On the border section and using size 6 silver crystal beads. I’m now wishing I had gone with the medium as I initially planned. This is going to be more a shawlette than a shawl - but it is pretty and I think it will block out bigger.

Since I have plenty of yarn I’m doing the 4 dc together for the clusters on the border. I also couldn’t deal with the asymmetrical decreasing of the double crochet triangle so I double crochet two together in the middle of each triangle instead. Not really a problem with the pattern but with my mild OCD :) I’ll show a close-up in a photo.

used up all but four of my beads so I guess its good I stuck with the small size :P
