Notes

Its all done and good now but these weren’t supposed to be table runners but two shawls. I had to improvise on the fly or loom.

A custom painted warp came with an additional colour not requested and so I had to ‘weave around it’. Table runners of unknown length, no hems but fringes as I was not certain of how long a length of weaving I would get until the irritating periwinkle blue colour would reappear in the warp.

I swear the hemstitching and fringe twisting took longer than the actual weaving of the cloth!

So an 8 yard warp came down to three runners :
21 x 36
21 x 50
22 x 47

One section of purple had white flecks where the dye didn’t take but I decided to embrace it as ‘intended’ because I would have had one less runner otherwise.

I’m called them Venetian Gold but in my mind, they are my Lemonade runners. lemongrin
