I had the bright idea of doing a colour gradient using my Fiberworks (Mac version) and weaving a couple of shawls. The warp looked amazing on the loom but then came the difficulty in choosing a suitable weft colour (and try not to reach for black). Iris is the first choice that seemed to be compatible……

The second shawl is on the loom and I’m using adobe as weft and it works well with the blue purples on one side and dark teal on the other!
