MAKE SURE YOU PROPERLY BLOCK YOUR GAUGE SWATCH. Seriously. Don’t be lazy. The lace panel requires blocking to properly open up, and depending on the yarn you use, the blocking might need to be pretty aggressive. Don’t be like me! I basically ended up knitting the entire body before realizing that it was too big and starting all over.
