1.24.14 - Done! Very quick and good practice for my crocheting skills. Modeled by my very agreeable 6 year old :)

Mods:

… used a size G crochet hook
… knit the 12-24 month size but knit the length to 7.5”
… ears: increased to 30 sts before decreasing to ensure bigger ears
… picked up 3 stitches on each earflap and knit an i-cord for the ties

1.22.14 - This pattern is so cute! It will be my first attempt at anything crocheted that isn’t a granny square or a snowflake. :p I need this hat to be a toddler size, so I am planning on making a few mods including using aran yarn instead of worsted. We’ll see how this goes….
