10.21.11 - This turned out just the way I wanted it to. Didn’t do any tassles, but went with the red Madtosh for the ribbed brim/trim and pompom. Super pattern and I love the end result! Thinking it’s going to be my 4 year old’s hat though, not mine…..

Mods:

• knit the main hat portion to 5” before starting decreases

• used a 16” circular needle to do the ribbed brim instead of DPN’s

10.16.11 - I need a new winter hat. And I want it to somehow match my Eternity Scarf and fingerless mitts. Thinking I will do the main hat portion with the Lana Grossa, and then add trim and braided ties using the Madtosh. Pompom colour is undecided….. We’ll see if this works out the way I am envisioning. lol
