So, a bunch of us from my SnB decided to all make the same hat so that we could spot each other while enjoying the wonders of Rhinebeck (a.k.a. New York Sheep and Wool Festival).

Dumb me…I didn’t realize that the pattern is actually knit flat. I modified it to knit in the round and did a three needle bindoff instead of the pattern instructions to turn it inside out and backstitch. No word of a lie…I was able to complete the whole hat using just one skein of yarn.

It’s actually a very cute hat. :-)
