Notes

This is actually kind of a mash-up between this pattern and Sally the Eco Fairy.

Her name was generated by typing in Chelsea’s name into this website, which I saw on twirly-girls’ project page.

I’m going to take judicious notes, in the event that I ever am asked to make this doll again.

  1. Followed “Head” portion of Sally, the Eco Fairy pattern until Round 41. Round 42: K2tog, k7, K2tog, K7 (16 sts.). Knit 5 rounds even.
  2. Followed “Shoulder” portion of Poppy pattern.
  3. Worked body through to round just before legs. Went back and finished arms, then stuffed arms and body.
  4. Worked on legs and shoe as per Poppy pattern.
  5. Followed pattern for Poppy’s dress and Sally’s wings, stitching the wings directly to the doll. I criscrossed the straps on the dress, though.
  6. Followed the directions for Poppy’s hair.
  7. Done!
