Notes

This small pig is a real estonian pig:

the construction pattern is taken from Anu Raud and Anu Kotli’s book Kiri Kari

and the patterns on the back are taken from the cover of the bread from Muhu Island, Muhu Leib.

I visited Anu Raud’s museum in Heimtali, Estonia, in summer 2015 and I loved the knitted animals. So I was sure that I have to knit an estonian pig!

And because we just started a KAL in the “Knit Like a Latvian“-forum, I knitted this pig in Muhu-style!
