Notes

This pattern is for small hands and I have no small hands, more medium-sized hands

And I am learning to knit Travelling Stitches so I decided to knit these mitts with bigger sizes - as exercise to empower me to finally finish my other Ruhnu Mitts (the Mitts from Riina Tomberg’s workshop at the Craft Camp 2018 + the Ruhno ferryboat victim mittens)

The real Ruhnu Mitts are knitted with smaller needles (mostly size 1.25 to 1.5) and more stitches, 96 stitches for example.

So knitting with Teksrena and needles #2.5 is relaxed knitting and I feel more and more comfortable with these patterns.

The first mitt is finished, the second will be cast on this evening

my experience until now:
for me the pattern is not so difficult anymore, but I have to do the Herringbone CastOn with lesser tension

Thank you Riina, you are such a good teacher!
