I’m not completely convinced by this pattern and would advise any more experienced knitters to improvise a bit to make the body shapes a bit more dog-like (the main body especially has one completely square end which would be much better as a rounded sausage-shape).

But I am really pleased with how this worked out in the end, once it was stuffed and the nose and eyes added it looked excellent.

Quite want to make one for myself too!
