Notes

I’m still trying to refine handknit socks for myself. I either knit them WAY too big or a skosh too short. I experimented with this pair and knit them longer than I thought and they’re still a bit too long. I swear I think I started knitting yesterday.

In any case, I was so excited to wear them to a class I was teaching, I threw them in the laundry to wash and dry super fast. Unfortunately, I discovered that our dryer gets INCREDIBLY hot and it scorched two holes in them. These pix were taken pre-mangling, but I managed to salvage them with some inexpert darning.

I still love the colorway. I might be knitting my sock in worsted weight from now on. :-(
